Dr Stephanie Konelsky TCMD, RAc
Years of competitive sport left me with a back injury that seemed unfix-able despite nearly three years of various therapies. Two acupuncture treatments later I was completely out of pain. How could a few tiny needles make so much difference? This question propelled my training and future career in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
I graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, British Columbia, from the five-year full-time program in 2005. After an extensive internship at Evergreen Acupuncture with the late Dr. David Chu, I embarked on private practice in central Alberta for two years and then overseas for twelve years. With a passion for herbal medicine, I've been involved in formula creation and manufacture for an independent pharmacy label in Australia. I continue to develop professionally and I am currently completing my training in bioelectric medicine. Please see steffiekacupuncture.com for more information.
